Global Casino Championship 2017 - WSOP Circuit

At the conclusion of the 13th season of the World Series of Poker Circuit, the Global Casino Championship returns once again to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in beautiful North Carolina near the Great Smoky Mountains. This is the third consecutive year Harrah’s Cherokee will host the event.

Championship Dates & Text Updates

The tournament is scheduled for August 8-10, 2017, and the final table will be filmed to broadcast at a later date. As the cameras roll, a minimum prize pool of $1,000,000 and a WSOP bracelet will be up for grabs.

Once again, the Global Casino Championship represents both the culmination of the 2016/2017 Circuit year and the kickoff of the following season. The first Circuit stop of the 2017/2018 season will be held at Harrah’s Cherokee from August 2 through August 16, and the Global Casino Championship will fall right in the middle. The full Circuit stop will host the standard 12 ring events, including a $1,675 Main Event, as players can begin the qualification process for next season.
