Global Casino Championship 2020

For the first time ever, the WSOP Global Casino Championship will be played out online on WSOP.com in Nevada and New Jersey on September 13, 2020. Due to social distancing limitations, the tournament has been moved entirely online. Players may choose to participate on WSOP.com from any location inside one of these states.

QUALIFYING FOR THE GCC

The Global Casino Championship is an exclusive, invitation-only tournament. There is a minimum prize pool of $1,000,000, most players receive free entries. For each Circuit stop this season, the Main Event winner and the Casino Champion each receive a free seat. In addition, the top 50 players on the season leaderboard (domestic US tour only) earn free entries.

2019 WSOP CIRCUIT LEADERBOARD

DIRECT BUY-IN

Players who meet certain criteria are eligible to buy into the Global Casino Championship directly. The entry fee is $10,000, and it's rake-free (i.e. the full $10,000 goes to the prize pool) - this amount is added to the $1,000,000 base prizepool.

The following players are eligible for direct buy-in:

  • Any ring winner from the 2019-2020 WSOP Circuit season.

WSOP.com FINALE CIRCUIT Series - June 3-14

If you haven't already qualified here's your last chance to get in. WSOP.com Finale Circuit Series will feature 12 ring events with all 12 winners earning seats into the Global Casino Championship. Additionally, a Casino Champion will be crowned and awarded the coveted last seat into the $1,000,000 freeroll Global Casino Championship.

Qualifying players will be required to verify their WSOP.com account or create one in advance of the invitational tournament. Players are encouraged to contact WSOP operations manager Johnny Hernandez at jhernandez1@Caesars.com for more details on registration logistics.
