Cherokee, N.C. (December 6, 2016) – Monday saw the two most prestigious tournament of the Harrah's Cherokee Circuit stop come to a close.
Brad Albrinck maneuvered through Day 3 of the Main Event and made the final nine. From there, he eventually found himself heads up against Jason Rivkin, who held majority of the chips. However, Albrinck kept his focus and, in the end, routed Rivkin to win his second gold ring and second Main Event title of his career. The victory in Event #10: $1,675 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event also granted Albrinck a whopping $275,877 payday.
The High Roller tournament was the last event of the series to finish. Coming to a conclusion around 1:00 am, early Tuesday morning, Event #12 was left with Adam West as the lone man on top. The local, North Carolina native defeated 101 players to win his first ever gold ring.
