WSOPC Event #15: $1,700 MAIN EVENT

The field has grown significantly since play began, and a number of new tables have been formed as a result. One of those brought Antonio Esfandiari and Brian Rast side by side at Table 360. The two are good friends on and off the felt, and both enjoy dabbling in a little side action from time to time while they play, as well. It's no surprise, then, that a game of "Lodden Thinks" quickly broke out at the new table.

Jeremy Ausmus, who is also at that table, is the brain for the day. The first question from Esfandiari: "How many celebrities' phone numbers does Jeremy think Noah Schwartz has in his phone?"

Ausmus tanks for close to a half hour before locking in his guess, and a discussion breaks about about the stakes the others should play for this afternoon. Schwartz is unhappy with the betting limits Esfandiari and Rast are proposing.

"Bro, we're here for ten levels," Schwartz says. "I might lose fifty-k today."

Esfandiari argues that the big-buy-in necessitates big side action, but Schwartz is still unconvinced. "Rast is up like $5 million this year," he continues. "Guy is riding bikes across the country. I'm gonna be broke. I'm gonna be one of those Transformers on Las Vegas Boulevard by the end of the day."

The first question is still unanswered, pending the settlement of the stakes.
