24 Players Advancing to Day 2
There were a total of 448 entries in today's Monster stack event. 45
players made the money, and the bubble burst around midnight. At the
conclusion of Level 21, only 24 players remained. Those players bagged
and tagged for the night, and will return tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1:00 pm
to play down to a winner.
Steven Sousa is leading
the pack heading into Day 2, having ended the day with 1,374,000. He is
the only player to pass the 1 million chip mark. Chris Leong is coming
into Day 2 second, with 841,000. Earlier today, Leong won Event #4
($580 Six Max - please see above). He late registered into the Monster
Stack event right away, and was one of the early chip leaders right
away. Rounding out the top three is Anthony Glavin, with 665,000.
A few notables making it
through to Day 2 include: Frankie Flower (461,000), Mike Muniz
(172,000), Linda Swears (66,000), and Lauren Murray (54,000). Please click this link for a full list of players advancing to Day 2.
