WSOPC Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em 30K Opener

Toby Lewis opens in middle position and Joshua Beckley defends the big blind to see the flop.

Both players check the     flop and then Beckley leads the   turn card for 140,000. Lewis, who has just under 1,000,000 remaining in his stack, quickly announces himself "all-in".

The move puts the pressure on Beckley, who has just over 1,600,000 in front of him, and he takes his time to make a decision, until Matt Jarvis calls the clock after a close to five minutes.

The last minute is all he needs to make the call though, putting a stack of green 25,000 value chips over the line for a call as the tournament staff counts down "3....2...1...."

Lewis rolls his eyes and tables   . He will need to hit to stay alive, as Beckley holds    for top pair.

The   falls on the river and Beckley scores the knockout, as Lewis is sent to the rail in 53rd place, for a just over $137,000 score.
