Cody Pack wins his third gold ring, all which have come in the past 11 months.

Elizabeth, Indiana (Oct. 6, 2015) -- Cody Pack has just won his third WSOP Circuit gold ring in the span of 11 months, a feat only few have accomplished. It all started for Pack back in December of 2014 when he won his first career gold ring in a turbo event at Harrah's Cherokee. Now Pack has just won his second and third gold rings in back-to-back Circuit stops. Pack won his second career gold ring in September in a $365 No-Limit Hold'em event at the Palm Beach Kennel Club and now less than a month after that win has won a third gold ring at Horseshoe S. Indiana, this time in the six-max format. Pack's victory gives him the bragging rights of becoming the first player of the 2015-2016 WSOP Circuit season to win two gold rings.

"Three! It's exciting man. The most exciting thing of anything is waking up with aces again and doing it in beautiful fashion," said Pack about closing out the victory holding pocket aces.

Pack took down the tournament with pocket aces. Astonishingly, this is the second time Pack has won a WSOP Circuit gold ring holding the best starting hand in poker. He won his first gold ring holding pocket aces as well. This win also vaults Pack well into the lead on the Global Casino Championship leaderboard. Pack has two wins, one fourth place and an 11th place on the season.

"It's a little more calm at the final table after getting [a ring] under your belt," said Pack about winning his third gold ring.

Don't think Pack plans on slowing down or becoming content with winning multiple rings either. His focus is on winning a fourth and fifth ring and even more than that. Shortly after the six-max ended, Pack headed over to Event #6 to attend to his dwindling stack in that event. Pack bought into Event #6 at noon and ran up a nice stack before abandoning it for the six-max final table at 2 p.m. Pack had a few chips left in Event #6 when the six-max final table ended and he gave it his best effort to run up his short stack to win back-to-back events, but was eliminated short of the money.

The 39-year-old is a professional poker player from Cartersville, Georgia. His WSOP resume now boasts three gold rings, 17 Circuit cashes and nearly $75,000 in tournament earnings. With more than three quarters of the Circuit season remaining, expect to see Pack at a few more final tables and maybe even become a four-time gold ring winner.
