After 190 players started Day 2 of the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event with their eyes set on a deep run into the third and final day, only 20 players will have the opportunity to chase down the $633,357 first place prize and a WSOP gold bracelet.

James Obst will start Day 3 out in front with 1,971,000 when players return to the Rio Wednesday at 1 p.m. Simon Deadman (1,020,000), who led after Day 1, and Nacho Barbero (1,037,000) will join Obst with more than a million chips.

But a number of WSOP bracelet winners remain in the field, including Tuan Le (800,000), Jennifer Tilly (715,000), Igor Dubinskyy (322,000), Jason Mercier (328,000), Pierre Milan (974,000), and Mike Gorodinsky (437,000).

Notable players unable to make it to Day 3 include Jason Somerville, Amir Lehavot, Phil Hellmuth, Mike Leah, Joe Cada, Daniel Colman, and JC Tran.

Players returning for the third and final day of action are guaranteed a $20,059 payday. Play resumes at 1 p.m. and will continue for another ten levels. Be sure to check WSOP.com for live updates throughout the day.

James Obst raises to 23,000 from under the gun and is called by Ariel Celestino on the button. Maxx Coleman then bumps it up to 73,000 from the big blind as the decision falls back on Obst. He makes the call which see Celestino instantly muck his hand.

The flop comes down     and Coleman slides out a continuation bet of 90,000 which is called. The   on the turn prompts Coleman to slide out another 120,000 in chips. Obst stares down Coleman's stack before counting out a raise and pushing in 320,000 in chips. Coleman goes into the tank for over a minute before finally releasing his hand.

Igor Dubinskyy raises to 20,000 from the cut off before Nacho Barbero bumps it up to 56,000 from the button. Dario Sammartino then four bets to 135,000 from the small blind as the action falls back on Dubinskyy. He thinks for a minute before mucking his hand prompting Barbero to move all in for 340,000 in chips. Sammartino makes a reluctant call before the cards are exposed.

Barbero is at risk with his    going up against Sammartino's    until the board runs out       to see him spike a queen on the flop to take down the pot.

Michael Del Vecchio raises under-the-gun and Martins Adeniya three-bets to 48,000 on the button. Simon Deadman four-bets to 96,000 out of the big blind and Del Vecchio quickly folds. Adeniya takes a moment before announcing he is all in for about 360,000 and Deadman quickly calls.

Deadman is in the lead with his    and has Adeniya's    dominated. The board runs out       and Deadman takes a pot worth over 700,000 and is currently second in chips while Adeniya hits the rail.

Deadman gets up and shakes hand with his fellow Englishman before Adeniya heads off to collect his $20,059.

Maxx Coleman opens the action on the button with a raise to 20,000. From the small blind, Fernando Viana three-bets to 62,000.

Back to Coleman, and he moves all in, putting Viana at risk. Viana goes in the tank for a few minutes before announcing a call and tabling   . He's ahead going to the flop as Coleman shows   .

The     keeps Viana out in front, as does the   turn, but Coleman spikes the   on the river for a pair of queens to scoop the pot and eliminate Viana.

On a flop of    , Jorryt van Hoof bets 23,000 from the small blind and Georgios Sotiropoulos moves all in for just over 80,000 from the big blind. Van Hoof calls and the cards are tabled.

Van Hoof's pocket kings hold up and send Sotiropoulos to the rail in 23rd place while last year's Main Event third place finisher is one step closer to another WSOP final table.

From the cutoff, Jim Collopy opens the action, raising to 17,000.

Pablo Fernandez, in the small blind, moves all in for 214,000. The action folds back around to Collopy who calls and is ahead with    when Fernandez flips   .

But Fernandez hits the     flop and then hits trip nines on the   turn. The river is the   and Collopy is eliminated in 24th place.

The action folds to James Obst on the button who raises to 20,000. Griffin Paul then bumps it up to 55,000 from the small blind before Ariel Celestino raises it once more to 137,000 in chips. Obst asks for a count before five-betting to 248,000 in chips. Paul gets out of the way before Celestino moves all in for 882,000 in chips. He gets snap called by Obst who has 797,000 in chips.

Obst turns over    and is up against Celestino's   . The flop of     gives Celestino additional outs to a straight, but he doesn't improve, as the board runs out the   and   to see Obst hold with his aces to rocket up the leader board.

The river is the   and Le cuts out some chips and pushes 120,000 forward. Collopy quickly calls and Le tables   , giving him aces full and Collopy mucks his hand and is left on the shorter stack.

Jason Mercier has only been at his new table for a few hands, but he's already eliminated Justin Oliver and put a dent in the stack of fellow bracelet winner Pierre Milan.

On the button, Mercier raises to 16,000. Milan, in the small blind, and the big blind call. On the     flop, both blinds check and Mercier bets 19,000. Milan calls and the big blind folds.

The turn is the   and both players check. On the   river, Milan leads out for 47,000 and Mercier calls.

The action folds around to Jorryt van Hoof in the cut off who makes the 8,000 call. Jim Collopy is on the button and raises to 25,000 which forces a fold from both players in the blinds. With the decision back on van Hoof, he moves all in for over 800,000 which cover Collopy. He thinks for a minute before making the call.

Van Hoof then confidently tables    much to the disgust of Collopy who stands up from his chair and rolls over   .

The board then runs out       to see Collopy hit an unlikely flush to double up to over 500,000 in chips. Van Hoof drops down to 595,000 following the hand.
