DAY 4 OF THE PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB CIRCUIT
Day 4 of the World Series of Poker Circuit at the Palm Beach Kennel Club belonged to Jonathan Abla. Abla began Day 2 of the $580 re-entry event with the chip lead and finished play the same way. In between, though, he watched as Ryan Van Sanford dominated the action sending opponent after opponent to the rail growing his stack to epic proportions in the process. Van Sanford eventually faltered and busted third leaving Raymond Ruszkowski as Abla’s lone opponent. Again, Abla grinded away at Ruszkowski’s chip lead and eventually sealed the deal on his second gold ring win and a $64,575 score.

Playing out alongside the re-entry event was Day 1 of Event #4 ($365 no-limit hold'em) which kicked off at 3 p.m. That tournament played from 98 players to just six remaining following 18 levels of play. Action resumes Monday at 2 p.m. with the tournament’s $8,812 top prize up for grabs.
