Payouts creep into six-figure territory and the field works its way closer to the November Nine in this week's coverage of the 2016 Main Event.
Las Vegas, Nev. (September 30, 2016) -- ESPN will continue its coverage of the World Series of Poker Main Event Sunday, October 2 starting at 8:30 pm ET with episodes seven and eight. There will be 14 episodes total leading up to the live November Nine
final table. The final table will be filmed live at the Penn &
Teller Theater in the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino starting Sunday,
October 30 and shown on ESPN and ESPN2.
This week's two episodes
will be broadcasted on ESPN. Episodes seven and eight will show the first
half of Day 6 and feature Griffin Benger, Tony Bracy (pictured), Cliff Josephy, and Andrew Christoforou. The tournament is down to the final nine tables and the payouts are rapidly becoming larger. At this point in the coverage, all players remaining are a guaranteed at least an $80,721 payout. The six-figure payouts are right around the corner.
