3 March 2020 (Atlantic City, NJ) - The World Series of Poker Circuit stop of the 2019/2020 season at Harrah's Atlantic City starts on Thursday, March 5th.
A total of 13 official World Series of Poker Circuit events are on schedule action will kick off on Thursday with a two-day event, Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack. This event features a starting stack of 30,000 with 30-minute levels throughout the tournament.
Next on schedule are two multi-flight events. On Friday, March 6th, Event #2: $400 No-Limit Hold'em (4 Flights) will get underway. This tournament offers four starting flights and a $125,000 guarantee in the prize pool.
Event#3: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack also has two starting legs and is scheduled to begin on Sunday, March 8th.The WSOP signature event has a $75,000 guaranteed in the prize pool.
Other highlights within this stop include a $400 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty tournament that will take place on Wednesday March 11th, a $400 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better on Thusday, March 12th as well as Turbo Events.
The much-awaited $1,700 Main Event begins on March 13th and boasts a $400,000 guarantee in the prize pool. Last year, Ryan Eriquezzo took down the Main Event for $124,397, his fourth ring, and a seat into the 2019 Global Casino Championship after navigating through a field of 357 competitors. He proceeded to win the Global Casino Championship three months later for $279,431 and his second bracelet.
The winner of the Main Event and the Casino Champion will earn a seat to the 2020 Global Casino Championship where they will compete for a prize pool worth more than $1 million.
