Brand new Florida Circuit series premiers this Thursday at Isle Casino.
1 February 2022 (Pompano Beach, FL) -- The World Series of Poker Circuit has already completed six stops so far during the 2021-2022 season, four national series and two international. February brings about a fresh month and marks the premier of a fresh Circuit, a casino that has never graced the WSOP schedule before.
Isle Casino Pompano Park, located in southeastern Florida, will be hosting its first-ever Circuit series beginning February 3rd. The schedule is comprised of 15 ring events boasting a combined total of over $1,000,000 in guaranteed prize money.
The first event of the series guarantees a quarter of a million dollars, alone. Event #1: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Multi-Flight features three separate starting legs, beginning with Day 1A at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 3rd. Day 1B and 1C will come after on subsequent days with the same starting time.
There are plenty of other big buy-in and uniquely formatted tournaments alike on the schedule. A $1,100 buy-in, No-Limit Hold'em ring event runs this Friday and is quickly followed by a $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Purple Chip Bounty tourney that puts a $500 reward on the head of every competitor.
The largest buy-in of the series is attached to Event #11: $2,200 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller, which makes way on the second Thursday of the stop, February 10th. However, the marquee tournament of the series is of course the WSOP signature, Main Event.
Event #13: $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event begins on Friday, February 11th with Flight A. Flight B, the second and final Day 1, will begin on Saturday. Players are allowed to re-enter once per flight. A prizepool of $500,000 is guaranteed for the Main Event and the winner will most likely be walking away with a six-figure payday, a Circuit gold ring, as well as an automatic bid to the "Tournament of Champions."
In fact, each of the 15 ring event winners at the Isle Casino Pompano Park Circuit will earn a seat to the new, invitation-only Tournament of Champions. The $1,000,000 freeroll event will be held during the 2022 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. 2022 online and live bracelet winners will also be eligible to compete in this premier tournament.
