The 2022-23 WSOP Circuit begins at Choctaw Durant Casino & Resort.
19 July 2022 (Durant, Okla.) - The World Series Of Poker Circuit is back, with the first stop being a return to Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. A beautiful venue that has featured some of poker's best, players young and old look forward to making their own history the felt
It hasn't even been a year since players have gathered at Choctaw to duke it out at the poker table. Over the course of the next two weeks, Choctaw Durant will hand out 16 gold rings, including three unofficial gold ring events, and offers over $1,600,000 in guarantees.
Action begins today, July 19th, with the Seniors Event. Cards will be in the air at 10:00 am.
Wednesday, the Monster Stack, a popular tournament every year amongst players, will return to give players a shot at poker glory. The following day, the even more popular Gargantuan will a
lso return, entailing three separate starting flights, which will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, consecutively. This year, The Gargantuan advertises a $500,000 prizepool, enticing to any local or visiting player.
The $1,700 buy-in Main Event will begin on Friday, July 29th and showcases a prizepool of $1,000,000. During the last Choctaw Circuit, it was Quan Tran who topped a field of 1,114 entrants to win $336,412 and his first WSOP gold ring.
Each of the ring event winners at Choctaw Durant will earn a seat to the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions." The $1,000,000 freeroll event will be held during the 2023 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. 2023 online and live bracelet winners will also be eligible to compete in this marquee tournament.
