Las Vegas, Nevada (February 11, 2025) - Poker players in North Carolina and around the country look forward to another World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) series at the Harrah’s Cherokee Hotel & Casino, nestled in the lush, green Great Smoky Mountains.

While players will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, most of their focus will be centered on the 18 WSOPC ring events scheduled for Thursday, February 13th through Monday, February 28th, 2025.

The signature $1,700 WSOPC Main Event at Cherokee takes place Friday, February 21st through Monday, February 24th offering 2 flights and a lucrative $1,500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

During the most recent WSOPC series to take place at Cherokee, professional poker player Jacob Hamed took an already successful series and capped it off in a big way.

Winning the $800 Pot-Limit Omaha ring event for over $42,000 and his first career WSOPC ring, Hamed built off an already impressive eleven days of poker by winning the $1,700 Main Event for just under $300,000.

Players have much more than just the Main Event to look forward to, as the robust WSOPC Cherokee schedule includes plenty of other lucrative events, including the $400 buy-in Mini Main.

Offering five flights and a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, the value of this $400 buy-in tournament is something all players in attendance would hate to miss!

For players looking for a “warm-up” before the series Main Event, Cherokee Casino Resort offers a $1,100 buy-in tournament running from Wednesday, February 19th through Friday, February 21st.

With two flights and a $400,000 guaranteed prize pool, Event #9 is sure to draw a competitive field prior to the Main Event.

Other events of note scheduled to take place at the upcoming WSOPC series in Cherokee include the $400 Double Stack ($100,000 guaranteed prize pool), the $400 Monster Stack ($750,000 guarantee), and the $2,200 High Roller ($150,000 guarantee).

Every ring winner at the WSOPC series at Cherokee receives a seat in the prestigious WSOP Tournament of Champions, a $1,000,000 freeroll that is also eligible to 2024/25 live and online bracelet winners. The host property for the Tournament of Champions will be announced in the coming weeks.
