Day 1 Finishes With Eight Players Remaining
Mark Fink
Day 1 is done in the six max event and eight players will be heading to Day 2. The pace of eliminations was fierce early on and the money was hit shortly after the dinner break. Players continued to hit the rail quickly until the last three levels of the night. In the last two hours of play only three players busted. The stacks went from deep to fairly shallow. The average stack for the start of tomorrow will be 25 big blinds.
There are two multi-ring winners returning for Day 2 tomorrow. Mark Fink is a four-time gold ring winner and Jim Juvancic is a two-time gold ring winner. Juvancic returns for Day 2 in the middle of the pack, while Fink will fight his back from being the short stack.
Day 2 chip counts:
1. Yoon Kim - 488,000 (40 bb)
2. Daniel Sandoval - 402,000 (33 bb)
3. Travis Lauson - 347,000 (28 bb)
4. Jim Juvancic - 317,000 (26 bb)
5. Deana Miller - 308,000 (25 bb)
6. John Bertz - 268,000 (22 bb)
7. James Wadzinski - 191,000 (15 bb)
8. Mark Fink - 149,000 (12 bb)
- Day 2 starts at the beginning of Level 22: 6,000/12,000 with a 2,000 ante
- All remaining levels are 50 minutes long
The table draw can be found above under the "Reports" tab. Since it is a six max event the players are still divided between two tables. The field will combine to one table once the field is reduced to seven players.
