Martin Ryan Wins Sixth Ring in $1,125 No-Limit

Martin Ryan now needs two hands to fit all of the Circuit rings he's won. He earned his sixth Circuit title on Monday afternoon in the $1,125 no-limit hold'em. He defeated a field of 57 entries and Richard Rice heads-up to take down $21,375 and yet another Circuit title.
The native of Trinidad and Tobago is a regular on the Circuit, and one of its most successful players, but he was forced to take some time away from the Circuit after he became seriously ill with Diabetes at last April's stop in Council Bluffs. He was unable to play for several months and missed all of the WSOP and was unable to play the Global Casino Championship, which he qualified for last season. Now, in one of his first stops back on tour, Ryan is as healthy as he's been in a long time and looks like he's ready to continue where he left off.
