Youseff Aly Takes from Scott Davis, Davis Takes Some Back
Youseff Aly limped in from the small blind and Scott Davis checked his option in the big blind.
Aly checked on the flop of and Davis bet 400,000. Aly called.
"Why does everyone think checking means weakness?" asked Aly. "Me checking is not weakness."
Aly checked on the turn and and called a bet of 700,000 from Davis. Both players then checked on the river and Aly showed for a rivered flush to win the pot.
A few hands later, Aly limped in on the button and Davis called in the small blind. Aly bet 400,000 when checked to on the flop. Davis called.
Bother players checked on the turn and Davis led out for 1,000,000 on the river.
"Nah. I'm going to keep him small. Just like he is," Aly said before folding.
