Day 1B of the 2023/24 Choctaw Main Event Begins at 11am CT
Day 1B of the 2023/24 World Series of Poker Circuit - Choctaw Durant (Dallas/Oklahoma) Main Event is set to kick off on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. CT with $1,000,000 guaranteed in the prize pool.
This will be the second of three starting flights before those advancing combine for Day 2 this Sunday at 12pm CT.
Day 1A is in the books and was dominated by Will Berry who ended the day with well over twice as many chips as any of the 21 players who survived an original field of 185 entries.
Among the chip leaders from Day 1A was Danny Marx who won the first Choctaw Circuit event of the 2022/23 season taking home a ring and $246,820.
With temperatures expected to be over 100 degrees this weekend, the cozy confines of Choctaw Durant should entice a large field of entries for all three flights.
Players will be allowed up to 1 re-entry per flight, worth a starting stack of 40k in chips.
