WSOPC Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em 30K Opener

 

With over 313 entries already, Day 1C looks likely to be the largest of the Main Event starting flights. Before cards were even in the air, the million dollar prizepool guarantee was already reached. At the end of the night all surviving players will combine with the 66 players from Days 1A and 1B who have already claimed seats for Sunday's Day 2 at 12pm CT.

 

Among the notables starting the day in the first levels are 2-time WSOP Ring winner Craig Varnell, who went deep on Day 1B but fell short, Ring winners from this event Cameron Mixson, and Andrew Todhunter, as well as Bryan Obregon who finished 33rd in this years WSOP Main Event.

 

The apparent chipleader after the first three levels is Satheesh Francis with about 130,000.
