Dinner Break on Day 1C - Prize Pool crosses $1.5 million
With Late Registration still open for two hours after the dinner break, Days 1A/B/C combined have already attracted 997 entries (450 today) with an unofficial prizepool of $1,510,455.
The tournament director has announced that tonight's dinner break will be 90 minutes long instead of 60 minutes due to how busy the casino is, giving players a more realistic chance to find a seat and eat a full meal. Play will resume at 7pm CT.
The apparent chipleader at the break is still 2-time Ring winner Craig Varnell with about 220,000 in front of him.
When the break concludes the remaining players will return to the 1000/1500/1500 level.
