WSOPC Event #15: $1,700 MAIN EVENT

It's time for the Harrah's Pompano Main Event final table! The final nine players return at noon local time to fight for the WSOP ring and also the $218,549 grand prize.

At the top to start is Brenno Alencastro, the cash game player who has turned a late night register on a whim into a serious main event challenge. 

His tournament inexperience is juxtaposed by the man right behind him in chips in Scott Baumstein who has tournament results going back 14 years and has $6.2 million in career earnings. He has one ring amongst all his career results, which was the High Roller event here in Pompano Beach back in February.

There are three multi-time ring winners at the final table including,; three-time winners Morgan Petro and Charles Furey. Both of them have win all three of their rings in the past two years.

Hollywood, FL local Loni Hui is the other multi-time ring winner. She has more than anybody else at the table with five. She has not won one since 2018 and will be looking to break the five year gap.

Accomplished Bulgarian player Krasimir Yankov will be seeking his first ring as will Fikret Kovac who has come close before on a number of occasions.
