Day 3 Begins at 1 p.m. with Three Remaining, Bracelet Winners Headline the Action
Cards go in the air for the third and final day of the $1,675 Palm Beach Kennel Club Main Event at 1 p.m. Just three players remain including bracelet winners Tristan Wade (pictured) and David Diaz. Diaz leads the field with 2,825,000 of the 6,060,000 chips in play. Wade begins play second and Michigan pro Tom Midena is the table short stack.
Each player has navigated a decorated 303-entry field that included the likes of WSOP Main Event champions Jamie Gold and Greg Raymer, as well as bracelet winners Chris Dombrowski, Chance Kornuth and Ylon Schwartz. For their performance thus far, they've locked up $47,963, but all are just a few eliminations away from the $106,806 first prize, a Circuit gold ring and a berth in the season-ending National Championship.
Play kicks off with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and a 5,000 ante. Levels are now 75 minutes in length.
Chip counts:
David Diaz - 2,825,000 (70 BBs)
Tristan Wade - 1,845,000 (46 BBs)
Thomas Midena - 1,390,000 (34 BBs)
