Break Number Two of Day 1C

With 396 entries so far on Day 1C, the prize pool continues to climb. All Main Event Day 1 flights combined have secured $1,428,645 in cash to be distributed.

Late registration will remain open until the start of level 13, or around 9:15pm CT. Final payouts will be released prior to the Day 2 restart on Sunday at 12pm CT.

The apparent chipleader after six levels is the same person who was chip leader at this time yesterday on Day 1B; 2-time Ring winner Craig Varnell. On his second bullet of Day 1C he's accumulating chips at an astonishing rate, sitting with about 195,000 in chips.

A number of Ring winners from the first 2023/24 WSOP Circuit stop here at Choctaw have entered the Day 1C field, including Cameron Mixson who won Event #11 and Andrew Todhunter who won Event #13.

Players will play into the money tonight with all returning players securing at least a minimum cash when they join the 66 Day 1A and Day 1B survivors.

Assorted chip counts:
Craig Varnell - 195,000
Michael Brown - 70,000
Jeri Sieber - 165,000
Brandon Packard - 130,000
Andrew Todhunter - 75,000
Satheesh Francis - 80,000
