Markushevski Takes It Away From Goffi On The River

Table 124 is involved in another multi-way pot on a board of    .

Ashton Griffin and Martin Finger check from the blinds. Gabriel Goffi bets 39,000 and Tim Reusch folds in the cutoff before Vadzim Markushevski calls from the button. Both blinds fold to send the players heads up to the turn.

The   falls on the turn and Goffi check-calls a bet of 50,000.

The   completes the board and Goffi checks for a second time, only to see Markushevski announce himself "all-in" for a more or less pot sized bet.

"Oh my god," Goffi murmurs under his breath before saying aloud that there was "one hand" that could beat him.

He seems torn with his decision, as Markushevski's bet is for his tournament life if he is to call and be incorrect.

After close to two minutes in the tank, he eventually folds, asking for Markushevski to show after doing so.

He doesn't, simply taking in the pot that moves him up near the 600,000 chip mark, while Goffi is now playing close to 250,000.
