WSOPC Event #3: $400 No-Limit Hold'em

The first flight drew 178 entrants and the field reached the hard stop of nine players (5% of the field) at Level 17 with 25 minutes remaining on the clock. Thomas Watson leads the field with 693,000 in the bag.

Ali Obad is right on his heels with Benny Russell joining them at the top of the counts. Steve Edmonds, Dusty Preusz and Jeremy Moore are tightly grouped in the middle of the pack with Scott Hiett, William Warfield and Daniel Biddle rounding out the final nine players.

Saturday sees two flights with one at 11:00am and the other at 4:00pm. It's unlimited re-entry but not a best stack forward event.

The first of three starting flights for the $400 No Limit Hold'em ring event with a $100,000 guarantee gets underway at 4 pm. The multi-flight event is unlimited re-entry but not best stack forward. Players must forfeit a stack before the end of play if they want to play a subsequent flight.

Tournament Details:

• 20,000 starting stack
• 30 minute levels
• Open registration through start of Level 9
• Day 1s play through Level 18 or 5% of the field - whichever should come first
• All flights merge for Day 2 on Sunday, January 21st at noon. (Tournament director reserves right to add third day of play)
• Unlimited re-entry
• Players must forfeit stack before EOD if they want to play another starting flight.
